Another NHS Let Down

As anticipated the NHS have yet again let Megan down. We have an appointment scheduled tomorrow to collect a pair of leg braces (KAFO's). A cast was taken for these tight fitting supports in July and we attended an initial fitting in September. So far so good we though . . . . . .
We received a phone call today after two previous cancelled appointments to found out that the adjustments needed in September have not been made!! And therefore we won't be collecting them tomorrow. They are sitting in a factory somewhere untouched. Six months on and there is VERY little chance of these things actually fitting any more so Megan will need to have new moulds taken tomorrow and instead of being at the end of the process we will be starting it all over again!!
